Scentsy Story
When the lady I was buying Scentsy from, asked me to join her team and sell Scentsy I was hesitant. I told her I knew I could “sell” but wasn’t sure if I could see the workstation to put in orders. She said that Scentsy had a person to help Visually Impaired and Blind Consultants and all I had to do was call in my orders. Sounded like I would be fine so I told her when i got my next check (disability) I would sign up. A couple of long weeks latercheck day arrived and so did my Scentsy Join Day!!! Nov 3, 2015 became an important day in my life. I was ready to start a new hobby since cheer was over (I coached Little League and Co-Coordinated Little League Cheer with my mom) and my son was in school, I signed up to sell Scentsy so I wouldn’t be bored and I could get all the cool products before others and discounts. I didn’t really think of selling Scentsy as a “JOB” and I still don’t, two years later. I would be lost without Scentsy. Being an Inpendent Consultant allows me to earn extra money to pay for livingroom and bedroom furniature and pay for Scentsy Family Reunion this summer. I am thankful that Scentsy allows me, as a disabled stay at home mom, to “work; flexible hours so I can go to school functions and not have to “work” on days I dont feel well, and feel productive just as someone who isnt disabled with an 8-5 who cant get off work to go to their child’s school parties and plays and who clocks in when they don’t feel well or loses pay when they don’t
